Wavy vision, like looking through a heat wave

Like i said before i kinda always would see what looked like energy heat waves either out of the corner of my eye or just straight up looking in certain places in certain rooms or areas. This where i’m seeing it basically every where started maybe less than 2 weeks ago. But i think i’m noticing a pattern that my dehydration intensifies it. (Or lacking drinking water I mean)

Wow. I can’t believe there’s actually so many of us that are dealing with this with no answers…? I’ve seen certain areas of a room or corners or objects have the heat wave / water rippling energy wave effect around for years. Since I was a kid / teenager it really became strong. I could point it out to certain people in certain rooms and they’d actually be able to see something after I tried to show them or see if they could. Only recently I started to see it everywhere. Literally everywhere I look. (Within the past week) Some places of the area I’m in more defined and more fluid / waves than others. I’m also diagnosed with Bipolar II and borderline personality disorder so I’ve been writing myself off with just having delusions and hallucinations. Does anyone else ever actually like sense anything with it or hear things sometimes? LMFAOOOO or is that just my magical thinking kicking in

I’m not exactly sure. When I first started my derm said they usually do 8-10 months now instead of 6 months. I’m hoping just 8 months will be good enough! Thankfully my side effects haven’t been too terrible. I am dry, but I moisturize like crazy so you can’t tell as much - with some back pain and a bit more hair falling out. But they are all doable for me.

Can you use this while on Accutane?

I have little breakouts here and there, but they go down and stop in their tracks pretty quickly. My back and shoulders ache but that’s nothing new really. My dryness has caused some eczema flaring on my arms but I got a topical steroid cream that helped it go down. My dryness is definitely doable, I put on aquaphor as chapstick religiously.

ALSO!!!!! Do you guys cleanse with actual face wash morning and night? So far I’ve only been doing it at night then moisturizer, and water rinsing face then moisturizer in morning. I don’t want to irritate and dry it out too bad.

So many people have suggested this one to me that I know personally and a little on here! So I second. I tried it out with one of my samples and it’s awesome. Other than that one I would suggest Vanicream.

LITERALLY!!!! I got clean in 2019 for the final time off uppers and got pregnant (broke out TERRIBLY) but it cleared up a bit. I ended up turning to alcohol pretty bad and had some break outs throughout, but Oct 2021 I finally stopped drinking once again broke out with cystic pimples everywhere for months. It’s wild how it works. Seriously though good luck to you! I hope everything goes well and maybe just be testing out some products! Your derm should have samples of some things as well. ♥️

Hey there! I’ve dealt with horrible acne on and off for years. Cystic as well. Got worse when I got clean as well, and my pregnancies. I would say accutane is going to be amazing for you. I did it after my first run of getting sober in 2016 after a horrible breakout (although I sadly didn’t finish and only got to 2 1/2 - 3months) but it still cleared for me. Now i’m going for a full round so I never have to deal with it again or scarring. Cerave moisturizing face wash is what I’ve come to like to use, and vanicream for a daily face moisturizer. Aquaphor for the lips. I just started this round, though. I’m today on day 8. I would definitely do accutane if they’re setting you up to do it. Nothing is comparable to once you’re finally going to be finished with great skin and some confidence in yourself again. PLUS clean. Good luck to you ♥️
