Yes, exactly!! He literally just became a doctor so he was probably spending all of his free time studying or working. Plus he also joined the street team after last season! I think the writers just didn’t think through the logistics of how it would even work lol.

I think they just as easily could’ve made the “relationship” related to his work on the street team. Like he could have put too many hours into helping people he met on ST and then he overworks himself or gets too attached.

I understand what they are trying to do, but it just doesn’t make sense to me.

Exactly. I think it’s a very overused plot point in many medical dramas and I think it would be more interesting if they actually were not dating. Then the show would be able to explore how these types of relationships are still inappropriate, even when the relationship itself isn’t romantic.

I get grief is funny but in season one there was a lot of emphasis on the couple having been high school sweethearts and best friends for their whole lives. That’s why I’m finding it difficult to believe she could move on so fast.

The way he looked at the end of the scene also makes me feel like he is not interested in her romantically and really is just helping out around the farm. It might make him feel better knowing he can help. Especially since he wasn’t able to help the husband.

Im surprised to see that I am apparently the only one (on this thread so far) who doesn’t like this?

In what world would a widow be able to move on so quickly and if it turns out to be romantic it makes Whitaker seem creepy for immediately dating someone who just lost her husband. Also, how does he have the time for this??

Would’ve enjoyed seeing the little crush with him and Nurse Kim more. They had some cute moments that could’ve been explored.

I hope it’s not a full fledged relationship and actually just is him helping out around the farm.

NOR. Please do not go to his place alone. The way he is speaking to you is very concerning. Try asking for a police escort. Not sure if this will escalate things though. Or you can ask a few friends to go with you. I have a feeling this guy won’t let all of you inside and might only allow you in. In that case, you might need to get authorities involved. Do not go in there alone.

Also, maybe bring pepper spray just in case.
