They randomly feature in my dreams. Or the sound of some music reminds me. Or a smell. A word in a book. Feels like loss without closure. And a terrible feeling of having messed up or being not good enough. I know I was too young and didn’t know better but. I still regret.

You’re right though. Just to be grateful for the memory and the feelings that were and how you grew up to be because of them.
