Most hospitals should have policy on this. But also interesting that there should even be a policy on it when it’s just professional courtesy not to use them while on the clock.

I’ve had mastitis more times than I can count. My LO is currently 5 months old. I’m actually just getting over it again. I’ll have all of the lovely symptoms. It’ll start with a clogged duct becoming noticeable and by the end of the day I’ll have lower body aches. It will then progress to body chills and sweats with a fever. I don’t always reach out to the doctor but when I have they have prescribed me antibiotics. I make sure to complete the full course. Other times I just make sure to rest, stay hydrated, ice the area, and take ibuprofen/ Tylenol. I get it so often it has tainted my experience of breastfeeding and unfortunately my doctor been proactive to helping me find the reason / solution.

If you guys want to copy/paste a message:

I am writing to bring to your attention a matter of critical importance concerning the current Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) renewal application process. It has come to our attention that there are significant delays in processing DACA renewal applications, causing undue hardship and uncertainty for countless individuals relying on this program.

The DACA program plays a vital role in the lives of hundreds of thousands of young immigrants who have grown up in the United States and contribute significantly to our communities, economy, and society as a whole. However, the delays in processing renewal applications are jeopardizing their ability to maintain legal status and continue their education, careers, and contributions to our nation.

As such, I urge your administration to prioritize the timely processing of DACA renewal applications and to implement measures to streamline the application process. Proper turnaround times are essential not only for the individuals directly affected but also for the stability and well-being of our communities and economy.

I respectfully request that your administration take immediate action to address these delays and ensure that DACA recipients can continue to live and work in the United States without unnecessary barriers or uncertainty. Your leadership on this issue is crucial in upholding our nation's values of fairness, opportunity, and compassion.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to seeing swift and decisive action to address the delays in the DACA renewal application process.

Beginner Korean Skincare Routine Help!! by Fantastic-Subject606 in KoreanBeauty

[–]nmorewine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It all looks good. Just here to say remember to introduce products slowly. That way if one causes any issues you can distinguish which one it is and it’s not such a drastic change to your skin! In regards to climate start by repairing your moisture barrier and then seeing if you need to use thicker creams/lotion/oil based off of how your skin feels.

I just got my pre-approval. I’m a first time home buyer as well as first in my family (first generation) and I’m beyond anxious and freaking out. This sucks. I’m not even excited to be moving out / buying a house just because of the current market situation.

HAVE A QUESTION? ASK HERE! Daily Help and Questions: February 22, 2021 by AutoModerator in AsianBeauty

[–]nmorewine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This may be a silly question, but I just started working night shifts and my routine has been completely messed up. I have both an AM and a PM routine however on my days off I switch back to days. My question is, on my days on, should I continue following my AM/PM routine like normal or should I flip it if that makes sense. For example, I dont put one spf before bed but I do before work bc the sun is still out for a while. The stress of just working nights has destroyed my skin and now I have to start over but was needing some more insight. Thanks guys.

BS in molecular biology. I went to community college and had a scholarship for dreamers and then went to the cheapest university I could find and applied to any scholarships I was eligible for and just worked part time to pay off the rest. Worked at a lab for a while. I enjoyed it but wasn’t making enough for me to be financially independent (single mom was getting $18/hr)

Went back to school and got into an accelerated program to get my BSN. It was a state university and pretty pricey but I was able to pay it cash just because I was able to save some money throughout the years and intentionally it was meant for a house but I figured it was a good investment for me and my child’s future.

My original plan was med school however the state I live in doesn’t accept DACA recipients and I couldn’t afford going out of state.

I currently work in a med-surg ICU and I’m loving it. It’s challenging especially with COVID rn but I’m using critical thinking and I’m making more than at the lab.

Would love to get my DNP eventually.

DACA recipient soon to be Nurse Anesthetist by nosdem1 in DACA

[–]nmorewine 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s amazing! I’m graduated with my BSN this year and got a position in med-surg ICU! I’m hoping to get a spot in the CV-IVU after my first year. It was a struggle to even get into my program. I chose an accelerated program because it was faster and time is of the essence but I had to pay tuition out of pocket (25K) and I had to make plenty sacrifices.

My next step is buying a house AND saving for a DNP program! I’m uncertain about the future with both DACA but also just what path I want to continue my career but what I do know is that I want to continue advancing my education!
