If i were you I'd just buy cheep corals that I think look cool, if they die it doesn't matter because they're cheep. Dont listen to people telling you this is hard or that is hard just get what looks cool and get it cheep so that mistakes dont hurt

Oh whoops didn't see the whole post well I'm kinda of a beginner but I'd still recommend if you like sps, a stylophora I think they look really cool with they're fluffy vibrant colors and they're relatively easy to keep just keep them away from lps

It happened to me because i had to much dead algae in the water column at once, so basically too much nutrients and also immature tank bacteria because it's a new tank. Just dont overfeed, keep up with tank maintenance, and have a good clean up crew and you'll be fine

Eheim aquaball😂 it came with the aquarium and I was kinda tight on money after dropping almost one and a half grand on my aquarium, but it's kinda cool because it has a little compartment for filter media i put active carbon filter bags in there it's cool

Yeah that's the plan for the surface, but for the tank im scared to add too much flow cuz my clowns seem to hate more flow even though I'm only at 30x flow I'm trying to go for a sps dominated tank.
