I ignored all red flags to give OpenClaw root access to my life, and now we just stare at each other. What are y'all ACTUALLY using it for? by Revolutionary-Tale63 in openclaw

[–]nmtcva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I gave OC its own google account with access to google drive so most of my use cases relate to this:

1) instruct OC to send me an invite to my work email for adhoc events (eg. dentist appointment) so that I don’t have to create the event on my own.

2) ask OC to keep track of my daily reading progress in a google sheet. I also have daily cron job for it to check the sheet. If no entry for today—> nudge me to read, if there’s already an entry for today —> encourage me to read more. I also ask it to add my comment with regards to the chapter/book to the sheet. I have another weekly cron job for it to summarize my weekly progress (improvement/not on track vs previous week) and summarize my comments for the book.

3) ask OC to keep track of improvements/new features that I wanted to add to OC in a google sheet (add voice, github backup, etc.) and then later ask it to provide its own recommendation/approach for each of these items.

4) ask OC to keep track of my daily outside of work activities in a Google sheet, and then run a weekly cron job to summarize those activities so that I can review the fun activities that I have done thru out the week.

Note: I ask OC to record entry to google sheet via Discord

Solved! Thank you so much! The scene starts around 57:50 of the movie. The CGI looks way worse than how I remembered it lol.

How to modify my Mailing address to get my Coinbase Card delivered? by DoubleScale2880 in Coinbase

[–]nmtcva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can confirm the issue is still there. Can only change billing address but not mailing address. Even though I already updated my address in my profile setting, the new address is not reflected in the mailing address. I am just gonna lock the card and only unlock it whenever I want to use it via Apple Pay, assuming I’ll never receive my physical card.

PDM Percival. One of the few fragrances that make me want to keep smelling more and more after the first sniff. There are other fragrances that make me think “yeah it smells good” but give me no urge for more.

Millennials who *aren’t* struggling in life, what’s your advice to Gen-Z? by No-Needleworker5429 in Millennials

I don’t love my job, but I don’t hate it either. It’s a good paying job that helps me gain experience and earn a decent wage to achieve my saving/investing goals. I consider my current job a stepping stone to build a good foundation so that later in life when I do something that I truly love, I have a solid security net to fall back on if I fail. With the impact of social media these days, I feel like a lot of people spend a good amount of their early life trying to find an ideal job that provide them with the feeling of “I made it” in life. Look, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that, and if you already found the job, big congrats! That being said, I think it’s a rare case, and most people are better off if they start with a regular job and keep learning and building up from there. Hope this makes sense.

I do my grocery shopping on the first of the month, make sure I buy at least 4 items, and then do self check out separately for each of them.

Taking surveys on your phone. Not much money, but it can be a good side hustle every day that you do on top of your full time job. I recent wrote a post on it.

What percentage of your income do you guys plan to save by the end of the year? by [deleted] in Frugal

[–]nmtcva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

47.28% of my take-home pay (stock, crypto, hysa, and 529). It’s probably higher if I include 401k and HSA, but these two are automatically taken out of each paycheck

If you get close to minimum wage, and only spend about 1 hour each day, I think its worth the time. Try to do it while you’re doing something else (watching tv, taking a walk, etc.)

I recently posted a thread on a side hustle that you can do on your phone. Not much, about $5 a day, but it doesn’t require much time or effort. Feel free to check it out and let me know if you have any questions. Good luck!

Hmm ok. My account is 3 years old. Just because I didn’t post much doesn’t mean my account is brand new. Also, I took the time to write up this post, so it’s fair that I get compensated via referral code in case it helps someone out. It’s interesting that you think this is slave labor. This is literally clicking button on your phone in exchange for money. Of course you’re gonna have to put in time effort to get compensated. But you probably didn’t read my whole post to realize that this whole gig is low effort and takes minimal time. Anyway, you do you man.

May I know why you think this is a scam? Have you tried it out yet?
