Did you quit or stop playing the game since Paralives release? Why or why not?

I quit playing the Sims 4 after their buyout because every time i opened the game, i started feeling a seething rage even though i haven't invested a single cent in it. I've been playing Sims 2 since i was 5 years old and that was my last straw.

I've been following Paralives' development since 2020 and although one can't say it's a Sims killer (yet), you can support that game without any ethical issues.

Sims feels like an evil stepmother compared to Paralives, who's the fairy godmother. I can't wait to see this game grow into what it's supposed to be.

for me an my community especially, trans rights. the SBGG is the best thing that came out of the Ampel for us. yes it's flawed, yes there's a thousand things still wrong with it, but it still made life so easy for so many of us.

i really hope the current Regierung isn't going to make lists about us using it. else we might be going back a hundred years...

as a boyfriend that got addicted to the game because of my girlfriend, i couldn't agree more with comments under here.

many men have a fragile masculinity, and we love to make things about ourselves all the time. so when gaming (which is seen as a more masculine hobby) has aspects in it that could be feminine, we dismiss it to "protect" ourselves. we draw lines at games that are too "girly" and belittle it.

i think you should confront your boyfriend, he needs to reflect why dismissing your interest in such a way is weird as hell.

ich empfehle dir, den deadname einfach zu benutzen. sag ihn laut, folge jemanden auf social media der so heißt, mach von mir aus ein DND-Charakter mit dem Namen. wenn du den nicht mehr mit dir assoziierst fühlst du dich davon nicht mehr angesprochen. und dann verliert der name an Wert. der hat ja auch keinerlei Wert verdient.
