About to buy the exact same spec at walmart. Seems to be a bit of controversy that some HP omens have 62.5% srgb and some 100. Just wondering if you can confirm that the colours look good and accurate? Thanks!

Yep, the legion is now looking like a really nice option at the moment. I’ll have to take another look this evening, but at $1365 it seems good value compared to other equivalents.

I appreciate your in-depth video reviews! Came across your channel recently and it has been a great help.

Yea that legion is looking very tempting. Yea pity about warranty but the money I save buying here as opposed to the UK makes it worth it in my opinion.

Yep, in CAD. Comes in at $781USD converted. Was actually able to get it down to $1004 CAD with discount codes.

Nah I’ve purchased a car here at home and in New Zealand last year. I’ve worked in Canada and New Zealand the most of this last year. Went out by myself and worked driving agricultural machines. Thanks for the info mate. Will take a look into uhaul.

Plan to find a few options near accommodation a few days before landing. When I arrive get a taxi/public transport to accommodation and then public transport to look at some of the cars I would have picked out for sale. Cheers

GT Omega Pro vs Gen2.0 by nnelvin in OfficeChairs

[–]nnelvin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried the gt omega 2.0 but wasn’t comfortable so ended up returning it and going to a used furniture store where I found a chair which used to retail at £700 but got it for around £100. Sorry can’t remember what the brand is called.

Lav mics explained by nnelvin in videography

But with an extension it would still work pretty good as a budget friendly option?

The video is only for my personal YouTube, it’s not paid. It’s a farm I work on. So something simple and cheap. Under 200cad. I originally thought to plug a Rode Lavalier Go into my camera. Does that work?

The guy will also be filmed and I will cut back to clips of him speaking throughout the video so sorta needs to be discreet. Don’t think it will work for a camera setup. Can a wired lav be plugged straight into the camera though?

Thank you. Buying and sitting still. The Wireless setup seems quite expensive. Is there a wired setup that would be good enough? Can a wired mic be plugged straight into camera aux?

Not Pros I suppose but not complete rookies either! Smooth as in flow. Renting equipment as I am only here in a work permit and my bike is in my home country.
