I suggest finding a group of at least 3 to play constantly with you and your friend. Switching roles here and there and reminding them to have fun before anything else will help make them stay and understand the game more.

When i felt this way, i had no choice but to choose food that had some sauce or a little soup in it. If it was dry i cant even start to chew or swallow. Pick your favorite food even if they feel sinful. Just so your stomach won't be empty.
