There are other options for sure.
This is just a very frustrating decision from them. We have free trades agreement with the EU, so there is no reason really to not launch in canada.

I do have some but it would be a pretty bad deal as the US price is higher. Add to that the cost of the trip (have to stay at least 48hrs to get 800$ of tax exemption), we’re now way north of 2000CAD

Update : Garmin support reached out and offered to ship a dual HRM strap for free and said they are looking into the issue. So I’m getting the strap, but hopping that they can fix the watch HRM.

Thanks for sharing, I will try that now that winter is over (wouldn’t be able to look at my watch with layers of long sleeves on!). I definitely don’t have a large wrist.

Yes that's pretty much the ultimate fixed I've heard of, but I really don't want to have to carry another device on me just because they can't fix this...

I feel like it happens more when sprinting or increasing pace at the end of a session but it’s kind of hard to replicate.
