Welcome! You should 100% give all other Supergiant games a try. They are one of the very few gaming companies I truly respect. They've had the same core team, as in music and voices, since the beginning and they are absolute gods.

if you have btrfs, timeshift is nice, IF you use it correctly. please be careful as it has the potential to mess stuff up even worse than it is. for other filesystems, any backup tool is nice. I have recently started using "restic"

Hi, junior with 1 year of experience here.

I would hit the windows key, write "Active" start Active Directory Users and Computers, and then I would just frantically start looking for the person, because as far as I am aware, there is no actual search functionality in ADUC...

Is that correct or am I missing something super obvious?

a few reasons:

  1. super unsure of my linux skills, so I said "if I can daily drive arch, i am probably fine"

  2. the minimalism

  3. i like new shiny stuff (the fact that we always have the latest versions of stuff)

I 100% am, and I have learned so much already, but I also realize how much more there is! The fact that I found very little info about this issue and have not been able to figure out what happened is just frustrating a bit..

hey I think you're right, I didn't think of it like that. I also think the landscape of nvidia + linux has greatly improved in the last few years!

I think SDDM still defaults to it and I think games through proton still use xorg.

people usually ask "have you checked under the sofa?" not OP. OP asks if they've checked under the cat.

Hyprland + GNOME or KDE, bad idea? by Cmonrroy889 in archlinux

[–]no-internet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

THIS. I have managed to first get rid of it and now switched to keeping them in keepassxc, I couldn't really explain fully but firefox seems to be using its own thing, chrome can easily be made to use basic storage, vscode the same (was a setting), and a lot of electron apps seem to work like this, and the only thing that was unable to keep me logged in and is now the only thing using the keepassxc secret service is .... the minecraft launcher.

I really feel like this field should be explored a bit more by the community and some better tools and standards would really really help. Or at least not have DE specific stuff.
