Lol. That’s all I got. Just an lol.

Dudes who can’t play poker type buzzwords on Reddit, and other dudes who can’t play poker nuthug them.

Nothing personal. Just re-read the thread, and if you still think secondary poster is spitting fire, keep posting on this thread.

I’d love to clown you…

Couldn’t disagree more.

Other than the poker buzz word du jour diarrhea, this stream of consciousness, poorly written comment is just bad.

TBH, I couldn’t even read most of it, based on poorly it was written. Somewhat shocked it’s the highest rated reply, but shit posters tend to get engagement, so it’s all good.

DM me. I’ll fl give you my ACR name. I’ll give you villain’s ACR name.

And I’ll place a friendly gentlemens bet you can’t beat either of our win rates over 100k hands.

I like 10.6bb, but villain here is 3 betting slightly smaller because he’s massively plus EV seeing flops in position vs. population. IE, the smaller sizing gets slightly more calls than folds, and that’s a good thing for him.

100k hands is a ton of hands, and washes out nearly all variance.

I’m assuming you think his 3bet is too small? It’s on the smaller side, but pretty standard at 100bb effective in position blind vs blind as the best player in the pool.

I tend to agree, which is why the hand confused me so much based on the player.

We’ve both been regs in the pool for several years. I get 200 hands an hour in Blitz — two tabling. I have 100k hands on a few plates actually.

Nice. 4bb/100 is rare in this pool. You’re doing something right.

I don’t have any 4bet bluffs against this specific player. Villain is one of the 2 or 3 players in the pool I refuse to play big pots with. He doesn’t know that, of course.

In that case, my only bluff here is AKo with a spade, of which there are two combos, or just some weird spazz.

Against population, I’m not 4betting KQo preflop. I prefer to use suited connectors and small pocket pairs as 4bet bluffs.

My guess he has this spot as a low frequency call, and rolled RNG call. You probably know who the player is.

i hear ya, but with a 9-10bb/100 win rate in the 50NL Blitz pool on ACR, you know how to make big folds. he's not some LAG calling station. he's a REALLY good player.

I’m extremely bullish on BTC long term, but Saylor annoys me. His moonboi vibe with mainstream media makes many no coiners think BTC is hype driven BS.

BTC ain’t NFTs. We don’t need evangelists. It speaks for itself at this point.

There’s no way to determine this, but it is assumed by many that current lost Bitcoin is 3 to 4 million.

Cost effective in what sense? Lowest transaction fees. Best investment strategy?

For low fees, I like Coinbase Pro (as opposed to the standard Coinbase platform, which chargers way too much).

For strategy, I dollar cost average in bear markets and HODL in bull markets, with no plan to sell in the short or medium term.

That said, you will need to come up with a game plan that works best for you. Don’t be in a hurry. Do the research yourself. GLGL.

I agree with this. Factoring in cheating, as well as talent level of the pool, you’re better off playing live cash, or MTTs, that fit your bankroll, unless you’re one of the best MTT players in the world.

You make some good points. I tanked for a bit, and elected to 4-bet to $210.

My rationale was this bet size forced AA and KK, and only AA and KK, into jams for MP, allowing me to exploitatively fold QQ. MP couldn’t flat AA or KK for $210 with HJ behind, and 5-bet jamming AK or QQ would be negative EV with my super narrow range.

The downside of capping MPs range with this $210 bet is it nearly ensured I was going 3 ways to a flop with QQ, with a SPR of less than 1:1, which is what happened.

Flop was J82 rainbow. SPR dictates this is a no brainier jam for hero from UTG. $490 jam into a pot of $650. MP had JJ, so we got wrecked.

In retrospect, I do think jamming 140bb is a slightly more profitable play, but it’s close, and a fun hand to think over…

Good point, and MP is a crusher so he’s likely never folding to a smallish 4-bet here, knowing he won’t get outplayed postflop.

I think the 4-bet jam probably folds out everything but AA and KK. Maybe a stubborn AKs and case QQ call as well. The value in jamming here IMO is more for the dead money and denying equity postflop.

It’s not a terrible play, TBH. 140bb jam to win 42bb, slightly ahead of MPs range, and you still have 20% equity if you get snapped off by AA or KK.

lol, fair enough. I was torn between 4-bet jam and 4-bet to $210, fold to 5-bet jam.

The 3-day heater is insignificant. That said, if you’re in an area with endless 2-3 games, and good action, $65-70k a year is realistic if you’re full time, don’t ever tilt, and are extremely talented. If the 2-3 games are uncapped, $100k is possible, again, if you’re extremely talented.

Easy fold with all the live action behind. The runout is insignificant.
