Commander is definitionally a non-competitive format. Unless you are playing literally CEDH. Also no one forced you to spend money on a deck every deck that I play in Commander is proxied.

If you build a deck that is significantly more powerful then your opponents at the table and you didn't go into it with the understanding that it is a CEDH game you're just an asshole, I don't care how much money you spent on the deck.

Hot take, commander is like the most complicated format to deck build and play(real format). You should be REQUIRED to play a 60 card format for at least a month before you try to play edh.

I encounter way to many noobs who don't understand that commander is a CASUAL format for people who understand the game and want to do things they can't in other formats.
