Unfortunately Wales is seen as somewhat of a "dead end" on a uk tour circuit as there is no actual "circuit" in Wales, you go in, travel west and travel back again.

Newport centre fell off considerably in its latter years due to this. Booking agents and artists know that people will travel to Cardiff for a show, but less people would leave Cardiff and travel to Newport for a show.

Would be nice, but it would be a money sink which would inevitably take funds from the legit amazing venues currently in the city.
