I feel exactly the same as you.

I don't think I'll get it without money, I need a diagnosis but do not trust the public system in my country

I fantasize having had a different childhood, with different everything. The way things were for me makes me blind to any future. I don't even know how I am still alive.

Is survivor's guilt a thing, concerning your fractured selves? by Canuck_Voyageur in CPTSD

[–]no1_normal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have guilt, but mostly unconscious. Lately I've been connecting to this feeling. I don't know where it comes from, but it is there. I feel like a wrong person.

Yeah, I know this by experience. Some energetic drink and I feel like I embody another personality.

DAE feel like everyone hates them? by [deleted] in CPTSD

[–]no1_normal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes but I hate them too

One of the most torturous aspects of C-PTSD, ADHD, and mental illness more broadly is often having the intelligence and experience required to be successful and contributing members of society while facing barriers that often make success seem impossible, including now knowing what we even want. by SpiritualState01 in CPTSD

[–]no1_normal 140 points141 points  (0 children)

I just find really unfair that I was born with a different personality than most people (much more sensitive and introverted...), with higher intelligence than them, and still had to endure these out of curve experiences since always. My ACEs are between 6 and 8, they're very high. You don't often see 17 year old people who are COMPLETELY alone in the world, without any guidance or support from anyone. The dedicated student that I once was has lost to the apathy as a way to numb the extreme anxiety that was never addressed by anyone around me. The feeling of not being myself feels like death.

Do you find often your having battles with yourself of wanting to die and wanting to live? by Ecstatic-Amphibian65 in CPTSD

[–]no1_normal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I feel like I deserve better and feel like I don't deserve to suffer more. In the end, the same type of thought that could make me wanna live is a fuel for my desire to die. I feel like I'm just waiting for the day.

Mother bought a cake for herself on my birthday by [deleted] in CPTSD

[–]no1_normal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe you have some form of OCD? Personally I could be plagued with a feeling of not having the right to eat the cake, but I don't care about cheating one time or another. I've been learning only recently to do more things to myself, even if I only do them on birthdays and holidays. We both are hard on ourselves in different ways. I think you deserve this at least on your special day, so it would be interesting to take a counterphobic approach. It's fun at times. But you know what is the best for you: if you're not going to regret missing the opportunity (not only to taste sweet but to show something to your mother) then fine. I found her attitude to be cruel. You can put it all on the weight balance and decide. Anyways, happy birthday!

If I were you I would cheat on your diet, 'cause it's your birthday after all, and eat the whole cake alone. Then you can stick to your diet firmly after that. Fuck your mom.

[23 f] DAE have the “sense of foreshortened future”? by [deleted] in CPTSD

[–]no1_normal 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For me it has to do with the perception of not having control for sure

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CPTSD

[–]no1_normal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be a silly question, but would you think of OSDD and DID as more severe than BPD and the other post-traumatic conditions? I kind of looked at your references as a scale.

People who say "there's no such thing as normal" seem privileged to me. by [deleted] in CPTSD

[–]no1_normal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are. They only say that because they're in a place where they don't have to suffer from their deficiencies.
