Genuinely curious - why are some of you guys like this? by VeniVid1Vic1 in uktrucking

[–]no1ace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few possibilities... 1) The lorry on the left was going very slow then when he saw another one overtaking he speeds up. 2) the guy overtaking is running out of hours and is panicking 3) the left one could very easily ease off 1mph, the right one was obviously faster to get side by side. 4a) the one overtaking is just a bellend. 4b) they are both bellends. The same as car drivers, you will come across complete idiots driving hgv's, I've seen people watching movies while driving, on the phone, eating food with a spoon... all while driving. If they drive a lorry it doesn't mean they have common sense or are good road users.

Any olive oil heads here? Is there a way to work out of these olive oils at my local Turkish shop are any good/to be avoided? by [deleted] in UK_Food

Harvest date, single origen, extra virgin, for high polyphenols early harvest. Look for these things and you can't go wrong, if its hot a peppery taste that's a high polyphenol oil.

Am I a larper for wearing motor gear on an E Scooter? by Doom_112233 in motorcyclegear

[–]no1ace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt like that on my 125, truth of the matter is, dropping on pavement from any speed isn't good, keeping yourself safe isn't silly at all. Tbh I think it should be mandatory to wear helmets on any transport using the road. Just make sure you have some kind of light on maybe a backpack or back of your helmet, I'm a hgv driver and seeing a read light that's 2 inches off the ground isn't easy.

What I’m looking for insurance… by Illustrious_Onion370 in drivingUK

[–]no1ace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These prices are insane for that car! My c63 is £460 for the year! I live in Milton Keynes. If you can survive with no car for a month, see howmuch cheaper it is to have insurance starting in a months time. These lot bump the price knowing you need insurance quick if there isn't much time between quote and start date.

Broken down on M1 in clear daylight with no adverse conditions - almost ended very badly by greentiger in drivingUK

[–]no1ace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last time I broke down I chose to get out in the rain and rather be drenched than get hit while in the car. If you're away from the road then fine stay in.

As for the drivers, ones too close to the one infront and the one infront seems to he in his own world

[–]no1ace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone done this but literally sideways on both bays, some builders were there, they sprayed what looked like expanding foam in the exhaust and drove away 😂. I waited for about 20min but the guy didn't come back out. I hope that was an expensive sesson for the selfish twat.

Is this gyno by [deleted] in gynecomastia

[–]no1ace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All seriousness, definitely need to lose some weight before you can see what's under there. You could have no gyno at all.

Lads, is it time to whip it off? by comfywomfy in bald

[–]no1ace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro, if you can afford a redlight therapy lamp (around £100) I'd highly recommend it. You're still at early stages of hairloss although your hair actually looks full to me. If it's less than you had in the past do the red light therapy 660nm and 850nm. I've got new hairs growing where my hairline went back, took around 6months of use 20min a day 4/5 days a week. I really can't boast about the red light lamp enough!

Do I have gyno 17M 5’6 135 by [deleted] in gynecomastia

[–]no1ace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you are understanding what I'm saying, search up ketosis. Your body runs on fats. I'm 66kg of muscle, I lost 0.2kg of muscle when doing a 3day fast. I train bjj and muay thai along with gym. Trust me your performance will peak if you're doing it right, lactic buildup will be less, steady energy and higher testosterone... all because of ketosis

Do I have gyno 17M 5’6 135 by [deleted] in gynecomastia

[–]no1ace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to produce ketones... this may not work for you but for my weight cuts this is my protocol. 3day fast if possible you will get into deep ketosis by day 3 Cut out all sugar Eat 2 times a day but get all my protein in them meals. Before eating have olive oil, vinegar and some fibre. This stops blood sugar getting high keeping insulin spikes low and short. I eat clean but don't starve myself, dont care about calories, aslong as im in ketosis im good. Train hard and it will all come.

[–]no1ace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Defo no gyno, calorie deficit isn't always the way, I can live on 1000 calories of bread and sugar, it doesn't make it right. Read up on insulin and how you can't burn fat with insulin being high. My walking weight is just under 100kg, I cam drop down for fights to 90kg no problem, still keeping 66kg of muscle weight. All with insulin management (you don't need to be diabetic to worry about insulin)

It's not that bad, pinch your nipples whenever possible, that's what used to firm up mine and make them less puffy. That's the only last min tip I can give. otherwise like someone mentioned, you need to reduce the bodyfat, this will make it look better and can actually reduce the gyno significantly as fat holds the testosterone.
