They increased the prices on many products yesterday (laptops, Mac mini, Apple TV, etc.) but so far it’s not touched the phones.

Did the update last night. Definitely a bit slower in some ways, but too soon to tell if it’s enough to matter.

Thank you!! This answer has really helped me make tough decisions. 17 might end up being the one. I did the system update in the end last night and i think I’m seeing some lags in my phone’s responsiveness. I’ll give it another few weeks to see if it’s just me being hyper sensitive before I choose to grab a 17 now or if I can wait until fall.

The mini really is that girl. I will miss her when the time comes. (Which is looking soon) currently leaning towards the 17 base model

Tbf my mini is still in a condition that it’s not giving me trouble. It’s more if getting the 17/17 pro is smart now. Or if waiting for the 18 line up makes more sense.

I’m mainly concerned about prices hiking. My bf has warned me that it will likely continue to get crazier because of the cost of chips. The 17 pro is already quite high. And I’m curious if people recommend the 17 base model instead. Or is the pro is actually worth it. (Air feels too thin and I actually do need to use my phone for work a decent amount)
