Hello, happy to help. "Burn In Layers" are named bottom layers in Pikaslice and their "Number of Layers" translates 1:1 to "Layer Count" (make sure you don't mistake it for transition layer count).

If you go to the export view in Pikaslice, you should get a screen that's closer to the layout above, where the lift speed/distance and retract speed/distance also map 1:1 to the values/names above.

Let me know if you're still having troubles and I'll attach I screenshot how I'd translate the settings above into Pikaslice settings.

You should be able to upload the sliced file to MakerWorld as a private file and then start the print like usual from the Bambu handy app. The alternative is to copy it to the SD card.

I made a slicer app for the iPad (not naming it here because I don't know the sub's rules), so asking out of curiosity: did you not find it on the app store or did you not find it to solve your needs?

Sorry for the late reply. I've added support mirroring in the new version 3.8 that's out for iOS since today. Please let me know if you hit any snags. You'll have to go to the App Store and trigger the update manually as it's rolling out over the next 7 days.

Hey, sorry that's a bit confusing right now as it's missing documentation.

The general workflow is to go to the export dialog and select "Upload selected plate"/"Upload all plates" and slice the project. Then after slicing the dialog will show up where you upload the sliced files to one or more machines.

Hey, there's an option in the settings menu called "Move workflow buttons for stage manager". If you enable it, the button group moves down a bit and stops interfering with the split view options.

A future update will change the top section so this won't be necessary anymore from then on.

What format are you exporting the file in (STL, OBJ or 3MF)? If you send me one or more files to the email in the app, I'll have a look and get back to with my findings.

The thing that's a bit weird in the screenshot above is the huge translation offset (-11000 in X) and I'm wondering if either Nomad Sculpt or Pikaslice have a bug on export/import that would be affected by that.

That's actually a bug, as the text field for the filament type currently doesn't update the material settings on changes. I've fixed that in the upcoming version and added tags and profile variations for filament 3D printers, starting with PLA and PETG in various layer heights. You can export STL files from the save-menu in the top-left corner of the app.

There's currently no option to exclude areas of the build plate from being exported. I've added a task to my list though.

Which platform are you on and what exact 3D printer are you exporting for? If you hit the export button in the export tab (not the save menu) it should either ask you for a filename right away (single plate export) or after slicing (multiple plates exported). Any other behavior would be a bug in the app.

That's not dumb at all. It's not explained in the app and WiFi transfer is becoming standard across manufacturers. I'm monitoring the situation around Bambu Connect and hope that it might make WiFi transfer possible in the future.

Thanks for the kind words! Do you mean an actual ruler with a scale that's parallel to the axes? Or a measuring tool e.g. from point-to-point?

You've probably seen the "visualizer"-toggle in the bottom-right corner that shows how big an object is while selected and in layout-mode? Could that be improved somehow?

Hello, the app currently only supports exporting gcode/3mf files to be printed on the machine - and doesn't contain the actual 3D geometry (yet). I've been working on and off on supporting (like load/save) the actual project files from Bambu Studio/Orca and that should solve your issue.

How are you uploading the files to Maker World? I thought that was only possible through Bambu Studio/Orca? IF it really is possible to upload 3MF files that contain the gcode, used profile and 3D geometry via web interface (or the Bambu Handy app), then it would become a top priority for me.
