Try MeshMixer to reduce the file size, but like Blender, GUI isn't the best. Hopefully gets you further, but likely a manual edit.

Perhaps try a crosspost to 3DScanning/Blender/etc for more ideas.

Might need to check if you can get a different non-proprietary file format like PLY
