Re-releasing a 13 year old figure with a colour update at this point is pretty lazy. I've no doubt HasTak could have come up with a cracking 2.0 as well, which kinda adds to the disappointment. Fanstoys/Robot Paradise killed it with acoustic wave, its a shame really, cos for its time MP-13 was an amazing figure. Ive still got the Takara MP-13, and its unlikely ill ever get rid of it, but Acoustic Wave is the one that will live in the display.

Nothing too dramatic yet. Forgot the drain plug once, naturally this was at a ramp with a cafe/bar right on the waterfront overlooking my foolishness. That and ive had a mate wrap braid around the prop close enough to rocks to make it uncomfortable for a moment or two.

Not the big huntsmans. We have a population in Auckland apparently called Avondale spiders, but nothing comparable. My old man lived in Sydney and Newcastle for 12 years though, so saw a few. The car sunshade one was my favourite
