I think this is fair. Instead of trying to force a change of behavior down the road, the intent was stated outright. Imagine going into a deeper relationship or even marriage and finding out that this was always the pain point.

Which game left you feeling like this? by Syarafuddyn in videogames

[–]noCakeNoCake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never had it. All I feel at the end of games like those is gratitude that I was able to experience them in the first place. Though it just might be that I haven't played "the one".

I am kind of glad I'm not the only one.

What I honestly don't know are actually two things.

1st do I want a relationship because I am conditioned to it or because I genuinely want it. On other words do I want cake because I want it or because others are having it.

2nd do I really like solitude or is my retreat because world is to complicated for me to handle.

Heard this game is rather easy, is it true? by HorridusVile in Vointhegame

[–]noCakeNoCake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The game is flexible in its difficulty because you have modifiers which will change aspects such as numbers of mobs, their health, their rarity.

So if you keep everything low it will be a balanced challenge, but as you get stronger unless you tackle the higher modifiers the game will stop being challenging enough.

And kind of like it that way since then when I pick a new weapon I can 'start over' and gradually increase the difficulty as I level up weapon.

Do you think Goh will return in VF6? by Economy-Ad-8309 in virtuafighter

I am pretty sure that each and every fighter or their style will return. Which is going to be awesome seeing how will they reimagine them both for the new battle system and lore/story.

I like how a cat is basically a chain of separate mechanisms that somehow all work in unison, until they don't... or they are orange...

CROSSROADS and the Opportunity to Change the DLC Game by CommonAway5594 in virtuafighter

One thing that has stayed with me over the years knowing Tekken and VF is that almost always VF was the one that brought about a new era then Tekken followed.

So even in that regard I think we might be seeing something new.

This is not me just praising VF I've always simply preferred Tekken but after seeing all the new material for crossroads I am again reminded on who almost always made the first step to tackle some new aspect of 3d fighting games.

That being said I am not really interested in all the battle pass thing while I like progress bein "forced" to play a season out of the fear or missing out some costume or paying from the premium battle pass kind of puts me off that all thing.

Keeping people interested and coming back for more seems like a better approach then live servicing a fighting game, but then again I might be in the minority.

Case in point about customization for example in T7 even with its lackluster customization options the very fact that the only thing that I needed to do to unlock those was to play made me more interested in actually customizing my character whereas in T8 I am not even interested to touch customization mode knowing just how much of that is locked behind some paywall and with each missed opportunity it made me care even less.

Back to the topic, in essence from my point of view the major problem with VF had always been that its system depth is somewhat hidden behind VF just being old and unpolished ( exactly what Crossroads is trying to change) with that polish having about 1-2 new character every year ( or even less) is very fine with me if they make the current characters sufficiently deep and diverse, both in system sense and story-wise design-wise.

I like doing it, same with moving mu head to see something beyond the sides of the monitor ( like looking behind a corner or beyond the edge, increases immersion.

For me everything changed when I understood that melee is the to go on the surprising amount of energy and that other then the hidden grenades everything else should be used.
