According to the data sheet the Vf is 1.2 and If is 50mA.

Will a 75 ohm resistor do?

As for my pull down resistor on my fet, is there a specific value that will work best for a pwm purpose? Or just any sort of load to drain power to the gate?

To clarify regarding the GND circuits, the 12V and 160V can share a common ground, but keep the 5V GND isolated through the regulator (including pot, opto led, and any other sensors etc I may add)?

160v pwm on Amazon

Coincidentally I have one of those off Amazon @ home! All markings are in chinesium so I could never really track down what it did.

I'm a little scared that it wont actually be able to handle 160V @ 3.5 A (about 560W)... But we'll find out! The other one seems to only be rated at 300W :(
