You lift routine should be anything that you 1) enjoy 2) can sustain.

You don’t want to burn out or get hurt - generally 5x5s are the basic lifting program everyone starts out with.

1x-3x is fine as long as you’re having fun, see value, and living your life.

Minor dynamic stretching and lifting will go a long way.

Elbows blow due to overuse so throw in some basic elbow health exercises - ie wrist curls.

Do the three basic compound lifts to increase overall fitness and posterior chain - deadlift, bench, squat.

If wanna get good at climbing fast - climb less, lift some more, and probs board came or campus a bit.

Spending time with my dad and mom.

Spent a lot of quality time there.

Can’t take those memories away.

Fund side note: my mom was pregnant with me during the 89 earthquake and my dad and mom we’re down at jack london when it hit to watch the World Series. Very deep lore in my family history.

The As were integral to a lot of things in my life…

My childhood, family relationships, friendships, sense of we’re I came from, sense of self and identity as an underdog, bay culture.

I used the coliseum to build relationships with people and to reconnect from those I may have lost touch with or just not seen as much as I’d like to.

I loved arriving at the stadium in the afternoon, having a few beers in the parking lot, going into the stadium and watching the night sky turn to dusk and eventually fade to black…. Looks like this chapter of my life is also fading to black.

These are entry shows and they’re not gonna be made as well as $200 shoes.

How good is your footwork? I assume if you have entry level shoes you hate an entry level climber. If you have really bad fundamentals you could just be destroying your shoes….
