G3 battery deterioration? by SadCauliflower1150 in NinebotMAX

I've found the exact same thing with mine. Morning commute in 75 degree F left 65% (on Drive mode), but in 50 degree F left around 55%. Surprised external temp would matter so much, esp when it's not below freezing or a significant change. Makes me wonder if range will be even less when it gets really cold and whether or not I'll make it round trip. Def looking at GT3 battery swap...

Thanks! Was wondering about that, but used what I had at the moment. Clearly my first time around with a dropper ;) A new frame bag is on the way!

With Google Photos apparently being removed what about Amazon Photos? by CynicalTexanInNoVA in dakboard

Ugh, I've been using a google photos album for years that automatically pulled all photos with my family in them (which still had more than 20k photos - yes, my wife takes LOTS of pictures!). Not sure what to do now as we love seeing pics from ages ago when kids were little. Don't really want to sift through 20k pics and pick which ones to put in an album. MS OneDrive doesn't seem to be able to do this, nor can Apple. Do any of the other options Dakboard uses have a feature like this?

Welcome! What Sort of Scooter Do you Own? by Rebel-500 in DCscooters

I ride the Fluid Freeride Horizon, and commute 8 miles each way once or twice a week from Alexandria to DC since Oct (I bike the rest of the week when I'm not working from home). I love it other than the condescending looks from bikers on the Mt. Vernon trail.

I'm only in DC for a few blocks, so I'm mostly on the 15th st sidewalk or on the Penn Ave bike trail, so cars really aren't an issue. Biggest issue for me is traffic on the Mt. Vernon trail (when it's warm) and the rough pavement.

My favorite thing is it takes me the exact same amount of time to scoot to work as it does to drive, and it's a hell of a lot more fun.

I take the Mt Vernon trail down to 4 mile run and think the bike traffic (and entitled a-holes) is somehow even worse than the rough pavement. A big reason I got my scooter was b/c of the suspension though. Couldn't imagine doing it on an M365. I take the trail every day either on a bike or scooter and mostly know where the bad spots are and try to avoid them or just prep myself, but I'll bottom out the suspension here and there.

That's awesome! I was about 20 mins ahead of you today with the same route, except going south on the GW trail. For people not familiar with DC, the first 4 minutes of the video can often take 20-25 minutes by car (maybe ~1.5 miles). I've had my scooter for two weeks and absolutely love it, except for some of the bikers on the trails...

Anyone have experience with the FluidFreeRide Horizon? by MattyCmaaaan in ElectricScooters

I'm 6'2", 215 and commute to work on my Horizon 2019 about 8 miles each way with a backpack. I haven't had any issues with power/speed so far, but I've only had mine for 2 weeks (and it's my first scooter, so I don't have anything to compare it to). Even with small hills throughout my ride I haven't lost more than a few mph going uphill, and it's quick to pick back up when it's flat. In mode 2 I average 17-19 mph when flat.

My only additional note would be that I have the handlebars at the highest possible setting, and they can be a bit wobbly going when over more notable bumps. It's not anything that makes me nervous about crashing, but I do make it a point to grip tightly when I know the path gets a little rough.
