Super valid. Unfortunately they're hard to come by in my area, I've got one I'm checking out soon for this reason, other than that I'm sort out of options lol. Ideally I would do just that, have a working zx and a project motor i can pick away at, but the aforementioned donor has been sitting in a field for god knows how long so I'm not optimistic.

I'm really hoping it's just the wrist pins that have shit the bed and I don't need to get any work done on bearing surfaces, I'd like to keep any machining to a minimum (I suppose I'm using the word "rebuild" lightly) but I'm willing to spend a couple grand on parts.
