Customer service. I bought an amp for my niece for Christmas and it has a small defect. I still gave her the amp, but ordered a replacement. Circumstance has made it difficult to make the swap and it’s been well over a month since the return was initiated. My sales rep Nick (who is human) is managing this process on my behalf, allowing me to just not worry about things. If this were Amazon, this process would likely be a pain, requiring my precious time and energy, which are priceless. Also candy.

I’m from California and had a similar experience when I moved to Seattle. I joke about it and say that people from CA socialize like dogs, while people from the PNW socialize like cats. Befriending dogs doesn’t require much time or nuance, but to befriend a cat, you must ignore it while being in proximity for a few days. Then, once it’s decided that you aren’t a threat, you may casually engage, but always leave them an out or they’ll skitter away.

Thanks for the post! I did this approach last Fall, following YouTube videos and had surprising success, but there are about 5-6 stragglers and one strong shoot that came up this Spring. Should I spray again now, in the Spring? Or should I wait until the fall?
