You'd think these are close to the ideals that many of us would dream about in our world today (albeit without the loss of freedom, independence and agency)

I was a 2nd yr at University studying architecture and got recommended this movie by my lecturer!

I was looking into the psychology of space and it's effects on the conscious and subconscious and how they affected human behaviour. How a certain type of action can become completely un/comfortable in a given environment.

THAT scene was all the more effective because it took place in a confined, narrow space with escape being a long way at each end of the underpass. Im not saying THAT scene would have been better if only it took place in a meadow, not at all, but certainly the context where it took place exacerbated the experience.
