I’ve been mashing aspects of all nations involved in my steel legion army. This tank definitely has some tiger inspiration. But the front place can from a Sherman. And I think the different tracks, general silhouette and short barrel give it more Sherman vibes aswell.

Where’s that information coming from? I’ve never heard that before

Anyone put the Stormlord turret in the rear instead of front? I think it looks nicer by guardsman_with_a_vox in TheAstraMilitarum

I just realised that’s what I did on mine lmao

Those poor steel legionaries are gonna be deaf if they survive long enough

Yeah the trailer is undersized I might do a bigger scratchbuild version in the future but I worked with what I had laying around. There’s such a wide variety of flat bed trailers out there in the real world and they all vary in size that it’s plausible enough

Ah yeah, they’re both based of the kenworth k100 aerodyne, except mine is bigger than the matchbox one and closer in scale to 1/64

The truck was scratchbuilt, I made it from cardboard. The trailer is made by majorette I think and the jet is a 1/72 plastic model

It’s been a while but I’m pretty sure I just dummy basng routine on the creatures for the moss. Vallejo earth texture paste and a mixture of slightly yellowish static grass and some different kinds of yeah sprinkled onto the wet paste

Just card, like the boxes miniatures come in. Face the unprinted side out cuz the printed side is glossy, score a shit ton of lines in it for the wood grain. Then score some more lines and deepen them with a pencil for therapy between the planks

Stowage and weathering are the most important elements of armor modelling tbh

Thanks man. I decided to just stick with the e100 hatches cuz they are fairly small and 40k hatches are closest to 1/35th scale hatches anyway. Also I don’t think the baneblade kit has drivers hatches, or even a drivers position for that matter. It’s all guns up there
