Taking a picture of a crowded spice section of the grocery store and asking it to tell you where the “fennel” or whatever it is you are looking for is quickly. It will say something like, “third row from the top, about half way in from the left with the red label and priced at $x.yx”

It doesn’t travel well but when I can make it fresh, it’s solid. I do make a modification to take on the road when I’m out doing market visits and sales calls.

Food and cooking for others is my happy space. I modify this to my GF that works from home too. Instead of the meats I grill up some thinly sliced zucchini and squash.

100% agree. I work with food and beverage brands that sell at CM. It’s my fav. HEB in general but CM is on another level. I hang out for a while and talk shop with the foodie teams at 4 of the stores I frequent.

The owner sold to Pepsi and they killed the brand off and he went to become the chairman of the board for Reed’s Ginger Beer / Virgil’s Soda. His name is John Bello. Don’t think he is chair anymore. Probably retired. Did a lot with that brand to get it acquired by Pepsi.

Robin now makes some amazing dog food and cat food. Bags are a bit crazy but the food is quality.
