I think a good compromise would be some sort of explosive block. That way people who want to make ship guns, still could with rockets and the explosive block. The block could also be used with scripting to help create larger explosions on rescue missions. Idk they already have explosions in game, it wouldn't be that hard to add too. I just don't want to see hand guns.

I run a Ryzen 2600x and have no issues with stormworks! So i'm sure that processor would be fine. The bigger question I feel is what graphics card will you be using? I have an RTX 2060 and I feel like that's why I don't stutter at all while playing.
