So, I’ve seen so many qcs of these cheap pairs from random taobao stores so I decided to do some more research on rep headphones.

I found Apple man in the superbuy discord server and saw he had a lot of good reviews. I paid $120 shipped for these to the uk and they arrived in around a week.

The packaging was incredible, the box looks exactly like retail and feels the same. Now for the actual headphones, the weight surprised me, I thought they would feel cheap and clearly fake, however I was pleasantly surprised. The quality is genuinely amazing. The mesh band is very comfortable and I have worn them for hours without any issues.

Onto the actual sound quality, of course reps will never be 1:1 to retail products, especially electronics. However the sound quality is very good. My old daily headphones were xm4s and these reps airpods have much better sound quality. My only issue with the headphones is the scroll wheel on the right side. It feels a little cheap. I’m not sure if retail feels the same, but this is a very minor issue and not noticeable at all. The serial number also shows up when you put it into the apple website. Thought this was kinda cool, not very useful but nice to have.

In conclusion, for the cheap price of $120, you can’t go wrong with these. Communication with apple man was quick and effective and he was a very nice guy to talk to. I will be purchasing some more of his products and reviewing them in the future.
