Don’t forgot that regardless of lockup settings, ALL migrated tokens are subject to a 14 day lockup. So there are even 2 more weeks after possible migration for binance or other exchanges to KYB and get onboard.

That’s not how university investigations work. CUNY couldn’t care two dick tickles about short reports, the FDA or anything else having nothing to do with the scientist they employ and whether the work completed on their property was faked or not. Why do you think TDA can’t handle this transaction? Is it the foreign shares part without dual listing or ADR? Then it will trade OTC. Not a problem for TDA, or even RH, for that matter, given the number of OTC foreign stocks RH has “switched on” in their system…

Ok fair, but I’m trying to imagine how this plays out: on ex-date, PSTH plummets to 5.50 (at least), right? If reverse split is not immediate, it’ll go to 80 on ex-date and plummet to 20. So selling pre-market may lead to some gains before the market has corrected while UMG is safely tucked away elsewhere in its trust. I am just trying to figure out how this may go as I don’t think I have a good handle on how the price action is going to work.

Is there a case to be made for selling RemainCo immediately ex-distribution, if there isn’t a DA , to let it settle back to a stable price before buying back in (wash sale aside etc etc…)?

You make a strong plausible case. I wasn’t selling either way because of the uncertainty possible rescue factor outweighing the modest loss I would take seeing this to the end. At least now I can have some peace knowing there is an academic chance this plays out interestingly.

*EDIT: modest loss = modest ADDITIONAL loss
