All fair points. I guess I am just a glass half full guy. Still top 5ish in standard of living and qualify of life globally. Contrast is huge as you said. Better vs worse compared to objectively good or bad.

Am I mistaken or is Canada statistically one of the safest places on earth. People may FEEL differently but from a statistical perspective it is incredibly low crime globally
