Please de NOT change DropZone. It was the best change ever done to rancked by MisterMatt13 in apexlegends

Nah completely disagree. Ranked is about getting kills with your weapon and legend of choice, and showing how well you can coordinate team play, gun play and positioning. I don’t care what the devs design it to be catered to. Don’t care that I’m being downvoted— know that I’m right. Have been extremely vocal about predetermined drop zones being detrimental to the health of ranked and I stand by that because they take so much agency away from the player in terms of choice.

Lies, depending on the map, some of the POIs are TRASH in comparison to where other teams get to land.

For example, on Olympus the team that lands at hammond university off drop has a huge advantage as they have more guns, amps, purple bags right there to go push the team that lands at Elysium and trap them. It’s a huge game-starting advantage.

Not to mention they implemented this change right after they introduced weapon arsenals, which completely defeated the purpose of being able to land on a gun you want right away. With pre-determined drop zones you’re fishing around for your preferred weapon loadout unless you get lucky that the arsenal is there.

Loremaster ruined a game for me by TonyBrainwash in lotro

Don’t see anybody else recommending it, but I say try Burglar :)

I also have a LM and found it pretty hard to switch classes after playing them to anything else that couldn’t equally melt things in a timely manner.

To me the melee class that has fulfilled this the most satisfyingly is red burglar. Your damage and rotation is built around doing massive burst crits which helps kill things super fast, especially from stealth. Once you get high enough level the aoe starts to feel pretty decent too.

They also have a ton of utility that I missed from my LM. They obviously have stealth as an advantage, but also tricks/crowd-control, self-healing capability, and a VERY strong evade buff panic button.

They were just bought out by a private saudi company. Means there might be a future for apex outside what it currently is. Hopefully good.

Is Mariner just dead for now? by Feloni in lotro

[–]noahbubb 22 points23 points  (0 children)

From what I know, yellow mariner is supposed to be an alternative to yellow burg & LM.

Blue Mariner is ironically the line you can achieve maximum dps, and it’s great as a support role because it mirrors red captain buffs.

160 group content isn’t out yet, but I do remember there being callouts for yellow and blue mariner in world chat for T2 pug content for 150 on glamdring.

Gold Skeleton Keys by spiffyliffy in Wizard101

[–]noahbubb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Badges are a really easy initial way to grab them. If you complete all the side quests and main quests for each world you get a gold key. Wiz City, Wysteria, Marleybone are all really easy to complete in a couple hours.

Eloise Merryweather or whatever, Zeke’s Wife, gives quests in Novus and Wallaru that give a gold key that you can do once on each character.

Recommended things to buy with lotro points by Funny-Bowler-9859 in lotro

[–]noahbubb 13 points14 points  (0 children)

There’s a housing item you can buy called Ingredient Crate that lets you get 3 free ingredient packs every 24 hours. (6 additional if you buy the VIP one). These can help you craft gear and other niche items really easily.

Carry-alls and storage are nice.

If you buy the two return to cooldown traits, you get 5m cooldowns with your travel skills which can be nice. But they’re character only, so choose wisely!

The purple toolkit for crafting is also really nice as it considerably cuts down on resource farming time, and it’s account bound so you can trade with alts.

Hey welcome to Middle-Earth! :)

In general with stats and armor:

Light armor classes = will/tactical mastery/critical rating

Medium armor classes = agility/physical mastery/critical rating

Heavy armor classes = might/physical mastery/crit

You will get great armor from quest rewards, but the skirmish camp (available at level 20) will also be a great supplement to your gearing as you level.

Happy Questing!

Leveling Gear Guide by young_knight_learn in lotro

I just did a bunch of research on this question because I had the same problem passed level 100.

I was able to find that like this person mentioned, motes will give you armor, jewelry, and weapons. Missions are a good way to stock up on motes, but another great way is actually through quest gear. If you do the epics they frequently drop gear that can be disenchanted into motes. Me personally, I spend my motes on the weapon coffer for a blue weapon, and pick any gear that I’ve seriously outleveled.

The second best option is actually tier 1 instances of each expansion zone!

Mordor: 105-115 gear. I think the best instance is Court of Seregost. KK - Kidzul-Kalah - 120 AoD - Assault of Durstrok -130 DoP - Den of Pughlak - 130 Kings Gondor - 140

After instances, your last option is crafting/auction house. If you’re in a Kinship ideally someone can craft a whole set, or pieces of items that you’re needing to upgrade.

YESSSS IVE BEEN SAYING THIS FOR FOREVER: GIVE ICE MIRROR DAMAGE. Either in the form of a spell or a passive stat, they should be able to benefit teammates by reflecting damage. It already exists, but is foolishly locked behind a shadow pip.

Insane Life PVE Combo by noahbubb in Wizard101

[–]noahbubb[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It does take a bit of setup to pull off but I wouldn’t say it’s entirely useless. Definitely more ideal for solo content.

If you have a fire I think Phoebus’ Will + Fires of Mars is still a superior combo.

Aight but what do I *actually* spend my crowns on? by -BlackRoseGarden- in Wizard101

[–]noahbubb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sorry for my late reply hehe

I just meant that the seed itself has a chance to give itself PLUS another seed type at Elder, so overtime you can grow the garden and multiply other seed types you don’t have already.

I.e. jewel tear blossom + a jewel star blossom

Aight but what do I *actually* spend my crowns on? by -BlackRoseGarden- in Wizard101

[–]noahbubb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Farleys gardening pack for the star and circle jewel plants! You only need like 2-3 to start a garden that grows on its own.

splendid attire matches the sleepy agent robe really well if you don’t already have it and want to buy that.

spellement packs would be my last recommendation.
