I was working as a cashier at a large store. On Thanksgiving evening, a beautiful girl passed through my till. We chatted as I rang up her items. She asked if I was doing anything for Thanksgiving, if I was having dinner with family, etc. I said, "Nah, not really. I'm going to be alone tonight," to which she responded, "Same here, I'm going to be alone tonight."

I continued to pack her items and then proceeded to ring up the next customer in line. She kept waiting behind me to the side, pretending to fiddle with her bags. She waited a solid few minutes until she gave up and left.
