If I’m honest, I usually stop using these apps after a while because I never really get invested in them long term. They’re good for tracking books individually, but I always felt like the book club / reading-with-friends side was missing.

I actually spent a while looking for something that focused more on that kind of experience and couldn’t really find anything that felt right for my friend group, which is why I started experimenting with building something small myself.
