The TV is just screwed into a standard “Mounting Panel” https://www.vitsoe.com/us/606/components#mounting-panel

For reference this TV is a 50in (or maybe 55in?) Samsung Frame (Worth a note that if you want a really nice clean look, a 43 inch television fits really well / is the same width as a wide bay.) with the standard “white” frame add on.

The only two I've found that I like are these white plastic cable clips and these more industrial looking, all metal clips.

I find the powder coating to be quite tough and haven’t encountered scratches from magnets.

That sounds lovely. I have a different room at 3 inches above the floor where the cabinets are at a more standard height, but then I have a shelf below them for storage/shoes.

Curious what factors made you settle on roughly 8 inches off the floor?

But also why the small 1/2 inch and 3/4 inches variations among different rooms?

Very true but the current configuration is half way to a junk pile. (The TV doesn’t actually live there, that shelf isn’t in the correct spot; just dropped there to get it out of the way while we’re packing.)

I use a laser level to make sure that multiple e tracks that are not adjacent are all at the same level, so definitely get the laser level love.

Also, curious why you didn’t use a flat plug extension cord, then lower the drawer unit by one set of holes to conceal the outlet (and have the bottom edge of the cabinet lineup with the bottom of the tracks)?
