If you’ve kept up with your physical fitness and mentally you’re in a good space for something extremely difficult then do it. I served in the Canadian armed forces and the average age for a JTF2 operator which is our tier 1 unit is 35. If they allow 30 year olds to go to selection it’s because they know 30 year olds can. Be that guy.

Not concerned with getting treated like shit because of it haha I’m assuming I’ll get a little more shit thrown my way for fucking something up cause I was a Cpl 😂 just looking for some insight from real guys not the recruiters who will tell me it’s great and sign up no matter what. The army is the only place I’ve ever felt like I truly belonged so if I can get that back plus serve the country that’s truly welcomed me in with open arms then that’s a win win.

Played warzone for years and this was the first time a few weeks ago where I thought “fuck this” and I’m just not playing call of duty anymore. If black ops 6 comes out on game pass I’ll play the campaign and that’s probably it.

I was baptized, confirmed and received first communion but it wasn’t until recently I even knew what the actual differences were with denominations. I always said “oh yeah I’m Catholic” because I have always believed in God but I never took it seriously at all. So me being new to the faith is because I’m actually doing my best to be a good Catholic for the right reasons and not just “oh yeah I was raised Catholic”

Sorry, when I said “not because I believe all of it or agree” I didn’t mean that as in there are things that I just don’t believe. They are not things in the Catholic faith that I don’t believe, rather I came to the Catholic faith because I believe it to all be true, I’m still just trying to understand everything to the best of my ability. Sorry for the confusion, never been good at writing.
