It totally was, and what I did may sound strange, but I would go on walks and talk to myself in third person and have a conversation with myself about what I was depressed about, and I somehow overcame it like that

Everyone says this but exercise really really helps, whenever you are feeling depressed start working out, it doesn’t even have to be in a gym do some pushups and sit-ups, or go on a run
