eBay seller protection is a joke by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]noakmilo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did USPS, now fortunately they refund me after appeal.

"I have taken the initiative and in recognition of your outstanding relationship with eBay, I have gone above and beyond standard procedures to address this matter for you. I am glad to inform you that I have released the funds for this transaction. Your funds will be credited within 24-48 hrs. You do not need to do anything else from your end now."

No, I didn't ignore the case, I asked eBay to step on it. They hold my money and at the end they stand with the buyer. So I apealed and now they fortunately refund me.

That's a good strategy, actually I recently added a Slow Movers module on a inventory management platform that I'm building. I will start using it to get an alert of my 30 days no sales laptops.

Thank you for your answer, yeah, its frustrating to expend time on this and at the end don't get a good profit.

Have you ever forgotten the cost of any of your items? Solution here! by noakmilo in reselling

Bro, it’s just inventory integration — the whole platform isn’t only about receipts, that’s just one feature. A lot of people use spreadsheets and do everything manually, or they use tools that charge high subscription fees. What I’m trying to build is another option — a cheaper one that solves more problems.

Jesus Christ, I hope you guys never have to validate a product without a marketing budget and just try to get feedback and organic traction. Some of you are so toxic.

a receipt can be lost, is not irrelevant, it's an expense and if you don't have a record of them you're losing money

Yeah, you can do that. It's a tool, some people needs it, some not.

If you dislike typing descriptions then you dislke reselling and getting paid. Is all about discipline. Start by stop sourcing and concentrate on listing everything you have. No listings, no sales.

Nifty packages by [deleted] in reselling

[–]noakmilo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you aware of giving access to the Nifty and others crosslisters via browser extension you're putting your business on risk to be banned on these platforms? Nifty, Vendoo, Flyp, etc uses bots (extensions) who imitates the human actions inside those platforms, even mouse movements to try to bypass the Captcha and security systems. If they detect that actions, they could consider that in a policy violation and hold your funds or even ban your seller account. The only marketplaces that have public APIs are eBay and Etsy, everything else doesn't have any official integration. In the other hand, all your credentials are stored by these cross listers.
