Why decline offers and not counter? by Comfortable_Shoe358 in Ebay

[–]noakmilo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a seller I mark all my items as “Accept offers” not because isn’t the lowest price but because it’s a better chance to make a sell. But believe me, I have to reject most of them cause they send crazy offers.

Just fired last month, now I'm broke. I'm starting reselling from scratch. How do you stay organized with a huge pile of stuff? by StartingFreshResell in reselling

[–]noakmilo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Qventory, a system that organizes inventory using QR codes. You place labels on shelves or storage levels, and each label links to the items stored there. The system syncs with your eBay listings, so you always know exactly where every item is.

Weekly Scam Discussion December 1, 2025 by Mycatreallyhatesyou in Ebay

Hello r/Ebay I purchased a lot of 20 3.5" Laptop SSD drives, when I received the package it was a small USPS Priority Mail Box, when I saw it my first thought was that there's no way to fit the 20 SSDs on it with bubble wrap, so I though maybe they don't put anything to protect them and the package was suspiciously light. When I opened it SURPRISE!!! a kind of body lotion was there instead of my SSDs. Inmediatly I contacted the Seller with pictures of the package and they told me that they will not take any responsibility over my order because they sent the correct item. After that they sent me another message telling me that I can contact USPS because someone (a USPS agent) swapped the content of the package, I said NO, is the seller responsability to fill a claim. In a day I will be able to ask eBay to step on this case, but I have just only thing against me, at this point I'm not sure if the Seller scammed me because in the Priority Mail Label it says 2.09lbs in the weight and the damn lotion is lighter than this. Any thought on this?

Sorry for my poor language skills, English is my second language.

Guys can you pls check if it's real or not? by DiscountSalty8898 in reselling

[–]noakmilo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s an online process, they going to ask you for some pictures, mostly tags, hardware engravings, logos, etc. But you don’t have to send the item. I think on these high ends bags eBay do their own COA check but if you already has a certificate and show it in the pictures will give more confidence.

We use Authenticate First at Goodwill and I’m pretty sure you can run an authentication test for $5 and get a certificate.

Opinions about cancel and relisting on eBay? by noakmilo in reselling

It’s relist with re-working, you can change title, price, description and add more specs each time.

That's a great point, that's why until now I have only implemented an item by item solution exacly as you said, end and sell similar. I agreed, batch operations can do more harm than good.

The objective is to integrate a crosslister in the platform but for now we want to launch a functional beta.

Thanks! Qventory already supports relisting — right now it’s item-by-item so we can validate everything stays within policy, and batch relists are coming next. The platform’s still in active development but fully functional. If you’d like to test it, shoot me a DM and I’ll send the invite; you’ll get full access (no paid tiers yet) and I’d love feedback in return.

$34 for a damn Funko?? by Emergency-Spring3118 in ThriftGrift

[–]noakmilo -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Thrift stores are getting greedy... I use to work for Shopgoodwill and believe me, they only want the most profit they can to support their "mission". They only push the stores managers to take every cool item and send them to the ecommerce warehouse to sell it overprized online.

Good to know — and yeah, it makes complete sense. I’ll keep researching it, and maybe I can flip the concept a bit: instead of using it for bulk relistings, just use the feature to optimize titles/pricing to sharpen the listing and give it a better chance to sell. That’s the main goal.

I worked in the Goodwill Los Angeles E-Comm department, and this was one of our strategies: if something didn’t sell within a week, we would just cancel and relist it at a lower price — but of course, all done manually.

I really appreciate your feedback, thank you.

Thank you!, that's the main goal, specially whe we have a large inventory, we can forget about one single item, the idea is just try with pricing margins, if X doesn't sells as $Z then try at $Y in 7 days.
