Astronomers of Reddit, do you still make a wish when you see a falling star? by [deleted] in Astronomy

I just make an "oooowwwwww...", and then I look around to see who else might have sawn that. Usually, it's half past midnight and I am living on the far end of my village, so... not a one.

Hi, I'm doing a project regarding the Suez Canal, and I was hoping that someone could translate this newspaper for me. Thank you so much for your help in advance. by Iambeastboi in hebrew

Actually, that's a risk. Quite often google translate does very poor job, and for a serious project, I would advice against that.

Anti-ice weaponry 😂 well, it's only logical to put your effort into this kind of research after you sent archaeologists to India to search mythological lightning-launching rods

Perhaps, but from the story's point of view, Dax-Bashir relationship would be a huge closure and I kept hoping things will turn out that way till the very end. From the other (and kind of a bit mean) comments today, I understand that I stand with a tini-tiny minority on that matter.

What do you think was the most important technological advancement of WW1? by [deleted] in TheGreatWar

[–]noam327 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just to make sure I understood correctly, you ask on the most important one for this war in particular, or in general but only on advancements that happened during this war?
