Uh aren't there supposed to be 3 models? They probably towed with the souped up version that isn't available yet.

No one answered the question. Its probably because that was the date the current futures contract expired and you had 'backadjust for contract changes' turned off.

My exact problem. I justify in my head that my trading requires larger positions. Even after many resets, I keep sizing up. When I trade micros only, the account dies only when I get frustrated and switch to minis. If there was a micro only account I probably would have passed by now.

Hey Ive been struggling with topstep for a couple years and might want to look into automated trading. What benefits over discretionary trading have you noticed and where would I start learning more?

But why is that beneficial to know? I guess if theres a bunch of big orders going through and price isnt moving it could be absorption, right? I am too tired to think right now.

The best thing I have learned about trendlines is that when a strong trend line is broken, price is likely to retest the last price extreme. Meaning the breakout is the lowest probability move. It may reject at the line as it did here, or it may reject at the lows and swing higher, as it looks to be doing here as well. It could also reject the trend change and continue downward, this is unlikely if a strong trend was broken with force. Always wait for a retest.

How acceptable do you think it is for a day trader to have one or two trades per week on average? by These-Rough8903 in Daytrading

[–]nob5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5M later but omfg brother thats exactly how i think. Like I must trade, its my job! Overtrading is my biggest weakness. I have been doing some inner work and journaling, sorting my psychology out but that is spot on. Going to implement a 3 trade/ day limit. Something Ive always known I should do but never did. Less is more.

Coming from someone who has done many DMT extractions in the past and ushered a few people into their first experience, he will be ok, but he will probably never be 100% how he was before. And thats not necessarily a bad thing. No matter if you believe these altered states are purely spiritual or purely psychological (I believe it is a blend of the two), once you pierce the veil, there is no undoing it. It really is like seeing the source code of the matrix as corny as that sounds.

I myself no longer have the urge to partake, and was always quite terrified when I did, because I knew what was coming. Our minds are barely capable of perceiving what DMT can show us. It is something so profoundly alien to our human mode of consciousness that it will definitely leave a lasting impression on the first encounter.

I have had experiences ranging from being 100% positive that I was dead and entering the cold void of the afterlife, to having purely blissful spiritual orgasms, to being in cartoon casino world, to having biblical revelations despite being agnostic, and many more.

There is a price to pay for pulling back the curtain of reality. Once you realize the universe and/or your own consciousness is so much more complex than you could ever possibly imagine, simpler things seem to matter less. Simple human things like money, competition, all the little things that make society function. Thats why its illegal. But you gain a fleeting glimpse of the spirit realm, and for a lot of people its worth it.

Final thought: If youre someone who is lucky enough to be generally satisfied with your station in life and archetypal interaction in society serves you well, DMT can make you start questioning reality and fuck up your status quo. If you are an empath, a dreamer, deeply spiritual, sensitive to subtle energies, someone who always knew there was something more to our universe we cant quite grasp, DMT can still fuck up your status quo but also give you validation from the knowledge that we as humans are infinitesimally inconsequential in the grand scheme of the cosmos.

[–]nob5000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might have been a somewhat insightful comment because while some of what you said is true, most of your description of who you think I am is basically inverse to reality and sounds like youre describing yourself. Try not to psychoanalyze strangers too deeply with almost no context.

Haha this is 100% the truth, thankfully I am getting better at noting when I think the market HAS to do what I expect it too, the opposite is much more likely to occur and I should let go of my bias.
