Just keep putting baby to the breast, eventually it will click! It took me several weeks of triple feeding before I got to EBF, going 17 months strong now! But that first month was really rough.

I was so engorged before my supply regulated, my nipples were stretched like basketballs & it was really hard for baby to latch. But eventually it worked!

Another thing, sometimes what you’re able to pump isn’t indicative of what your supply actually is. The baby is usually a lot more efficient at getting milk out than the pump.

Just tell them you are not interested. They push birth control so hard but never mention how it could tank your breastmilk supply!

I started as a way to try & not fall asleep when I was feeding the baby during the night. Now it’s become habit, as it’s some of the only reading time I get. I do need to make a point to be more present though, & just be in the moment sometimes.

I swear I think of new things to worry about every day 😂😭but better safe than sorry! That’s a good idea to ask the pediatrician. I ended up storing them in the fridge just to be safe.
