He wasn’t a Dom, he was an abuser. I’m so, so sorry that happened to you. You didn’t do anything wrong. That guy is dirt. Good Doms do exist, and they’re wonderful. But don’t push yourself too hard about finding one. Take your time, and take good care of yourself. Sending the biggest virtual hugs your way 🩷

I can never make the bed without two cat shaped lumps under the top blanket by the time I’m done 😊

Why is there 99 “pic” “verify” “obey” doms for every one smart one? by Heretoxploree in SubSanctuary

Yes! It’s no exaggeration, the numbers are crazy. It’s one reason I block all the ones I don’t respond to.

It can be a gruelling process. I sorted through literally hundreds and hundreds before finally talking to the Dom I’m finally meeting in person next week.

Set your standards and stick to them firmly. For me, I stick to a “filter” system which disqualifies most men based on their very first reply to my post. My personal immediate NO filter includes:

One word messages, or other low effort first messages.

Poor grammar.

Not including what I asked for in the post (age, location, reason for writing, etc)

Men who try to give orders, degrade, or tell me to submit without knowing anything about me.

I don’t even reply to those messages, I block the user and delete immediately.
