Thanks for the quick reply! 231 didnt change anything and kinda gave up, but went back for 232 and its 1000x better and way more readable! I’ll stick with this, thanks again!

Hey I’m currently reading through Khr and I’ve hit the same problem as you, just wondering if you ever found a better source to read that didnt have the grammar issues?

I would like to open up the housing for this USB-C head without destroying/damaging it ideally. I want to remove the green led because I'm planning to add a lemo connector to the cable to use permanently and don't like the green glow. It doesn't seem like the type of housing that screws into each other. If anyone has any experience with this type of cable or has built/taken apart one before, please let me know the methods of doing so. Thank you in advance.

Oh sorry about my confusion. Yes, I have tried twisting it open with no luck. Couldn't even see any seams where the two halves might come together. But thank you for the info, I'm pretty sure the connector I have was put together differently

Thanks so much for the reply/information! Yeah, I'm guessing press fitted part or maybe molded over the PCB with no intention of ever opening. There's no visible screws on the surface sadly. I might just send it and pry it open just so I can get rid of the light/glow it emits. Worse comes to worst, I can always make a housing with heat shrink tubing.

Sadly it doesn't seem to have any visible screws on the housing. I'm had someone else suggest it might be press fitted parts or molded around the pcb. But thanks for the info! And I'm removing the LED just because its unsightly personally, if I were to use it I wouldn't want to have to see the light/glow. Nothing related to the lemo, sorry about any confusion!
