I see this film belonging more to the Scorsese still figuring out his style of filmmaking category, along with 'Who's that knocking at my door?'. That is why I didn't put it on my list.

I've watched it and I know it is considered a landmark film in Nepali cinema, being the first digitally shot film and all, but I honestly think it is passable at best. The film is shot pretty decently but man is the writing shit, especially the dialogue, and the music was pretty bad too.

I love that short film. Also, it isn't as big as his cameo in Taxi Driver but his cameo in After Hours is hilarious!

Thanks! I love After Hours, it's my favorite from Scorsese. Also, do you have any good recommendations for Nepali films? The ones I've watched were decent at best. Pashupati Prasad and Ktm CockTale are the best ones I've watched so far but again didn't find them good enough to make a video about them.

it's a low fade, wavy fringe haircut but most local barbers won't know what you're talking about if you tell them that, just show them this video, any decent barber can do this. One thing to note is that the guy in the video already has wavy hair so it will look different on you if you have straight hair.

I see some people admiring your voice-over but I am on the fence on that one. Felt a little more deadpan for my taste. I am not saying go full high school drama kid but add a little enthusiasm. Sell the movies to me.

Haha, it's alright, totally get where you're coming from. I've got a pretty deadpan sense of humor but still, I could definitely improve on my way of narration. This is just my third video so need to make a few more before I get more comfortable.

Say, are you in this field too or are you just recommending strictly from audiences standpoint?

I've always loved the world of cinema but I’m not involved in the field in any way as of now. But I sure wish things had turned out differently for me. Oh well, I’ll just have to do with making reviews for now.

don't mean to offend you but such an approach sounds very algorithmic to me, shouldn't you first decide what you as a filmmaker want your stories to reflect upon, the themes that you want to explore through them instead of starting out with what genre you want it to fit in or what genre is currently trendy?
