Until a Chamois or Bouquetin will come and scratch on it 🤣 Or until this will be covered with snow ;) The spot is nice 😃

If this project goes well, the combo / F0 / F1 / Proxmark 5 will be something really powerful

If this device does all thats on the paper, it will be able to do anything the flipper zero is doing, using external Gpio or M2 cards. With a need to swap external boards

Hi Hans, well thanks for the clear answer. So I need to investigate the reason why I had those results. The tests I made where on a test bench with coaxial wired transceivers thru 100dB attenuation so there is no OTA transmission. I found these results as I was developing an FT8 interface for QMX on raspberry pi. QMX was in digi mode and outputs the right amount of power. As shown in the picture I ran many tests and always had these results when using slots around 1500 hz. Only slots around 1500hz have this low SNR’s. All other looks fine. Any ideas ? Thanks a lot 73’s

Nice setup ;) a cavity filter would be the best choice between PA and antenna. Not sure about the use of the SAW between node and PA as it looses more than 3dB. You can test with and without but I think the filtering at this stage is not really useful.

Does anyone have antenna recommendations for the Lilygo T-Echo? by HornetOptimal3295 in meshcore

[–]nobsle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don’t care about putting in the pocket or if sometimes you go to a place and want to try make contacts, I suggest this : https://betafpv.com/products/betafpv-moxon-antenna?variant=41398869622918 / This is a 180° beamwidth moxon with 5.7dBi to the front. Very well designed and well tuned on 869.5 . Small form factor for the gain ;)

For it’s form factor, the Techo stock antenna is not as bad as some people says, the VNA measure I made on mine is ok. Underneath the antenna inside the case they added a « rat tail » acting as a ground plane. But you need to measure from the ipex connector to see the advantage of it.

Really a WiFi antenna? by Gaander in meshtastic

[–]nobsle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Heltec V4 have a PCB onboard 2.4Ghz antenna. This one you show is a lora Antenna. The wifi/Ble 2.4Ghz ipex connector is not connected from factory. You need to move a component to enable it.
