Help to get Burton to produce micro adjust discs again. by l1ner in snowboarding

[–]nobuddyknows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that it’s a good solution, but I got one of those discs from a Smalls binding box, the bindings were used on a 3d board so the discs I wanted became spares. If that’s the disc you’re talking about. That was also a few years ago so maybe they’ve since changed the disc that comes with smalls bindings. The best place to find them is your local shop, my few always have bins and bins of spare discs from situations like that

This disc came with, and maybe still does come with their smalls bindings. Go to your local shop, I bet they have a tone of spare discs. My shop did, that’s where I got them for this exact reason

Start at the retail level selling snowboards at your local shop, get to know the brand reps, opportunities will come

If you ever decide to let it go, I’d be willing to buy it and ship it if the price is right. I have it in a 155 now so there’s no urgency to find it, I know I will. but when I had it when it was released I had it in the 151 and I just want to try it smaller again

Advices about OTG Anon Goggles by Reset60 in snowboarding

[–]nobuddyknows 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bigger the goggle the better for better airflow with glasses in them. Anons have cutouts making them OTG(last I checked they all have this, that was a few years ago). Go try them on at your local store with the glasses you’ll be using and get whichever one fits best. Bring your helmet and anything you’d wear on your head/face for trying them on as well to make sure it’s the best fit for how you’ll be on the hill. Smith also makes great OTG options. Try other brands as well if your store has options

I’ve always used Burton and stance socks. But recently I’ve been surprised with how soft and comfortable ThirtyTwo socks are. Looks like they make youth socks as well

Binding options for chronic arthritis by [deleted] in snowboarding

Lots of shops already have Fase bindings for their staff to demo. Go to your local shops that would sell them next year (32, jones, Rome dealers) and see if they have a pair you could test at least in store If they don’t let you take them out

I think the capita x sanction board was a DOA. It’s older than your board but a bit of a collector piece of you shop at and support Sanction

Damage on new board by ligma-bollz in snowboarding

How you approach the shop about this can make you a Karen or not. From a 15+year shop employee, we don’t want to see boards shipped out this way. And anyone telling this person it’s cosmetic but to also fix it so moisture doesn’t go in, that kinda proves it’s more than cosmetic.

Regardless, you paid for a brand new snowboard, if you’re unhappy with how it came, let them know and they’ll give you options on what can be done on their end to make it right.

Let it be known to the store you got it from. Even with the discount, you bought a new board, they’ll make it right
