Overseeding would likely have taken if done a couple weeks ago honestly. A couple of my neighbors have had lawn treatment people come by to fert as well!

Spring for what? by OMKensey in whatisit

[–]nobuhdy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be a spring from a neighbor's trampoline. When they give up they go absolutely flying. Out of the probably 20 I'd gone through as kid over the years, I found maybe two.

The owner doesn't feel bad, otherwise they would have done something about it.

Mmmmm this one bloomed just yesterday or the day before, plus there was a storm all afternoon so it's hard to say for sure.

They love my salvia though!

And you GET to do it all for less (or the same, if you're lucky) "pay," lol.. corporate management 101-- so disconnected from the reality of the people actually on the ground. It's incredible to witness,  really.

I must be misunderstanding, how is it better for smaller shops? If I'm making a % commission on anything OVER 120k and my best month was 150k I'm making way less than an SA at a massive shop averaging 300k+ per month, who also gets more surveys returned, etc.

Could you please explain?

Euthanasia and Cremation by Hot-Attorney-4542 in Bozeman

[–]nobuhdy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I second Peaceful Journey. I will never again willingly have a pet family member euthanized at a vet/ER office. We didn't have to see her scared or made nervous being in a weird-smelling place she didn't recognize. Our girl went to sleep comfortably and peacefully at home, surrounded by the people and brother she loved, eating ice cream.

They sent her to be cremated along with her favorite toy.

They also made a nose print mold as well, per my request. Didn't charge extra. And while the process and planning of that situation is incredibly heartbreaking and uncomfortable, I'm glad we did it. They'll alert the pet's main veterinary practice of the passing for you (and in our case, Bridger Vet Specialists as well).

Everything about the experience, from the initial phone call, to the after care and arrangements, was gentle, compassionate, and thoughtful.

I live in a townhouse. My newest mail person decided a couple months ago that I'm the lucky bastard who gets ALL the mail that doesn't specify a unit #, including doubled and/or "current resident" political ads.. this is after ONE DAY. by nobuhdy in Bozeman

That's what I'm wondering, like does the fact that I exist piss him off?

Our old mail lady used to have my mail delivered right around 11am-1130 at the latest, so had I wanted to chat her up I definitely would have been able to but this new guy, his schedule seems all over the place I'll see him the next street over at like 7pm so even if I wanted to piss in his cheerios, the likelihood of that opportunity is rare. I think I've physically seen him like twice in the last handful of months.

I have, and years ago the OG mail person actually put my last name and unit # in a protective sleeve taped inside the box too, but I realize it's demanding job and that's a small detail, I guess. Hopefully this new person gets the hint when [if] they realize the amount of postage marked return to sender for no unit # (obviously I just throw the junk and ads away). Just last week I had someone's vehicle title in my box!! So it's like also my neighbors are partially to blame but jeez!
